tail/rack bag recommendation
« on: July 11, 2016, 03:35:17 PM »
Can anyone recommend a small bag that fits on the rear rack nicely? I replaced the plastic plate with the SW Motech steel rack with Monokey hardware. I'm looking for something smaller to fit on the rack when not using the trunk. Pics if you have them please.

On my 650 Versys I used an OGIO tail bag...I had two of these and they work great. Put a Shad 33 on the V1K but these bags are pretty handy. Quick release for taking with you and I add a small gun cable lock for keeping the "honest" thieves at bay.

This was a budget bag from an online retailer, it has built in bungee hooks that easily wrap around the rack.

Old post I know, but just got my 1000, and this was very helpful.  Some folks say the cortech is tough to bungee up, but apparently not.
