Riding on the salt is a little more difficult than I thought. There are actually some ruts and grooves so it is not as smooth as I imagined. The problem is that the salt is VERY corrosive so we rode very slowly but still went to a car wash immediately after getting off the flats so that we could wash the salt off.

As for the comparison of the three bikes we rode about 2000 miles together. Naturally the C-14 has all the power but surprisingly that C-10 was keeping up pretty well. I had a C-10 for years and put 86,000 miles on it before I got the Versys. The Versys is so much smoother. Here are a couple of more photos. One is a guy on a Ducati who just rode up there and took his muffler off and did a run.
