In 2016 I did a tour of the Pecos and Northern Portugal with "Missed Adventures" very good.  This was the third time I had visited the Pecos.   This year I visited the Pecos again then did a trip to Baden Baden to do the B500 and Black forest again (on my own, fantastic). In August with PEMC we did a tour of the Cevennes and Ardeche
this also was most enjoyable.   I can reccommend PEMC it is I suppose a slightly unusual club in that they do not have a regular meeting point but arrange meets at various locations.  Meet for lunch, go for a ride then return home. They also organise overseas tours.  We visited the Bike show yesterday some very nice bikes but none I found to be a must have. We liked the Enfield 650 and thought the Mash excellent value for money, but then we are of a certain age.  56 was a long time ago.

Welcome Flatustube

You've picked a great bike and well done for getting through all the  tests - much more complicated than it used to be.

I too have a bolted together knock that doesn't bend like it used to.  The 'sit up and beg' riding position of the V1000 suits me.

Enjoy your travels and have fun

Tony
