:152:  Welcome Phil! I too traded a '13 FJR for the V1K...no regrets so far (4 months, 8K miles so far).
Are you the same Phil that we rooted for on the FJR Forum during the Iron Butt?

no that  wasn't me, but have done trips on it that left me a bit sore. 350 miles from Italy to Hungary in the rain sticks in the mind. Did 40,000miles in 4 years on the first FJR I had. Taking the Versys to Spain and Portugal for 5weeks in the spring. Not going to do stupid daily milage, but using our motorhome as a base, plan to target some of the best roads.

Wellcome Phil. I love my Versys the V2 replaced a 650 I purchased in 16 but decided it wasn't quite man enough for the long trips.  Just replaced the suspension ( untested yet) have a larger Givi Screen ( was on the 650) , camera bike mounted, and sat nav.
Also have a BMW and Royal Enfield in the garage.
I think you will find this forum a font of knowledge.

:185: to the forum Phil.  I'm sure that you will be chuffed to bits with the big V. It's a great bike with lots of endearing features. I hope that you enjoy every minute of your time with it.                 cheers   :031:   Geoff :002:

Welcome aboard Phil, I wanted a Batavus back in 1975 but ended up with a garelli tiger cross. Don't suppose you've a photo off it.
