Any further updates Jo

Okay, Got back from Angeles Crest Hwy and got my videos made. So now i can give my thoughts on the Road 5's. When i first left the shop where i had them fitted. I noticed right off the bat that they had a more softer pleasant ride than the stock T30's. For city, freeway and day to day commuting they are perfect for me. No issues with crappy road surfaces or slippage when running over any painted areas of the road. The trip up the twisties into the mountains they worked great. Places where i had to shut the throttle off with the T30's the Road 5's you could continue to keep giving it the throttle. They love the corners very confidence inspiring. Would i purchase again ....Yes in a heart beat..Only issue was hitting sand in a few corners no slides but just a slight give that will get your attention.... :biker1: :biker1:

You either ride a lot or have an issue with Hoarding  :001:

Thanks for that Jo  :028:

I think I may choose the Metzeler Roadtec 01, which I feel will be more suitable for the roads and weather conditions that we frequently experience here  :002:

Thanks again for the feedback

Im sure you will be very happy with the Roadtechs..I ran through 3 sets and only switched so I could try the Road 5s.... if the R5s dont last any longer than the Roadtechs, ( about 5K for me) I'll probably switch back as the Roadtechs are significantly cheaper

So, how do they compare (other than lasting about the same)? I know the Rt01 but I'm tempted by the R5.

Which tire won't slip on the sand in a corner?  That's why we have TC
