It's been in the 20s (F) every morning this week and it snowed for the first time in 29 years  :157:

It's not supposed to snow in Florida   :124:

Thank you all for cheering me up!  :36:

We're almost a week closer to Spring already, so that helps as well. I'm going to give her a good cleaning when it's a little bit warmer (my garage isn't heated...), so she'll be all nice and shiny when the first day of Spring arrives.

Love the Versys  :152:

The weather improved in West Wales today, so as the "cabin fever" was getting bad and despite temps not going over 4degC I had a run around the coast to Newgale, Pembrokeshire

Been busy in the garage fitting some DRL

and full beam

The sea is on the left over the shingle bank, waves often come over the top in a storm and flood the pub. The road was closed in the recent storms and the local councils long term plan is to "abondon" the road in the near(ish) future

Then onto Fishguard for coffee and Victoria sponge...great winter fuel, the white thing in the distance is the ferry to Ireland getting ready to depart.

Then over the Preseli's , it was -1degC at the top  :151:

This bike for me is amazing when used with heated gear and the big screen, the heated feet were only on setting 2 of 5 and the jacket and gloves on 1 of 5, with grips on 2 of 5....even in the -1 degC...and arrived home warm like on a summers day ride. The only limiting thing is a potential lack of grip from gravel, ice and cold rubber.

How sweet it is. Thanks for the pictures.  :028: I would love to ride and walk the Preseli Hills, being a geology nut and loving glacial terrain and stone work archaeological sites. You've got it all right there.

Cheers Tyke, it was a very close run thing as to go or not but pleased I did, Only one twitch (on gravel I think) on a back road to the house. Bike now hosed, dried ACF50'd and tucked up in the garage.

Sonny, I'm not a geology nut I'm afraid, but have been told Pembrokeshire has very varied rock formations and it makes for interesting sea kayaking (which I do in the summer) around the coast. Some of the Blue Stones for Stonehenge came from the Preseli's too, but you may already know that.

Oh yes, almost forgot, it was also the first run out with my new Maxton Suspension on both ends but I'll post about that elsewhere.

That looks like a great ride Bart! Good to see that there is joy in Winter time after all. Let's see if we get another sunny Sunday and maybe...  :biker1:

Hi,
Nice couple of hours spent up the A55 to Llandudno Junction and back down a frosty A5 through Betws y Coed.
Cold but very enjoyable at 1 to 4 c.
Need a few more Sundays like this please.
Loving the new bike.

Native Minnesotan; lived here my entire life. Weljo's dashboard readout joke had me  :4:
Currently snowing heavily and 14 degrees F.

As one afflicted every season with Parked Motorcycle Syndrome, I can relate to all the symptoms.

Since I purchased the orange dreamsicle very late in the riding season, I only managed to rack up about 300 miles before she was reluctantly parked.

About once a week I uncover her, have a seat and make vroom-vroom noises.
Spring can't get here soon enough.

I am extremely jealous of those of you in year-'round riding climates.
Wow, what a boring motorcycle.
-no one, ever.
