With what bike you turn back home?

I stuck with my Versys. Not ready to change. I might be adding the 900RS soon...

Nice!! We are heading to the IMS in Chicago this weekend. Looking forward to see a couple of the new bikes this year, as well as getting to see all the vendors. I always get a couple good ideas to add to my MC stuff.
You live more in five minutes on a bike like this going flat out than some people live in a lifetime.

Just looking at the Z900RS picture again, shows me its  different to the U.K version...yours has S/Steel front mudguard (fender) with Carbon effect stays and also has polishes wheels..maybe other differences too or was it a special for the show

Yes the 900 RS looks good, apart from the radiator hoses, which look a complete dog's breakfast :5:.

Hard on the eyes indeed... stainless hoses are great but red & blue connectors ruin the appearance.

That bike is modded in various ways -- has the chrome grab rail on the back, silver alloy wheels trying too hard to look spoke-ey... I don't think the golden chain is stock either.

In fact, that show photo is opening the first cracks in the dike for me, as far as swooning over the thing. Where's the rest of the front mudguard? The radiator execution looks like an awkward afterthought. Where are the downtubes and front of the frame? The stressed member engine and sportbike rear end treatment are beginning to offend...  :027:

The hoses aren't standard Geoff,  the coloured hose terminals are typical of high pressure hose connections used for performance upgrades -- some kind of tricking up has been going on methinks   :002:
