It's because they also include the price of the seat base in the 550 Euros (it is a bit pricey)

If you can find an original OEM base and send it to them they will fit a cover, there was one for sale recently on fleabay, but it may have been sold by now   :002:

Does this seat lower the seat height at all.  I am looking to try and lower the seat without using a lowering kit.  There is a low gel seat available from Kawasaki for the 650 but not for the 1000.

No it does not.. But you could get a coach trimmer to shave it a bit

It's worth remembering that a seat which is slightly narrower at the front will also have the effect of lowering as your legs are not as far apart.........    oooh errrrrr missus     :002:
