For a lancastrian Geoff, you ain't half Yorkshire. 😁 Thanks for the tip off
:008: :008: :008: Phil.    Must be because I have lived in Yorkshire for over 12 years.  :152:. And I do know that Yorkshire folk tend to be careful Christians.

As a non Yorkshire person, (despite having lived here for 20 years), I think careful is a very charitable description! I do find them pretty welcoming tho, even to a bloody southerner

Rog, my mother in law came from Ballymena. It was her told me that if people were tight, they were said to have a bit of Ballymena blood in them.

Really ? Well, that's not something I've heard of before,  :notsure:

I suppose every town has a part that fits that profile, what I will say is that Ballymena is an incredibly friendly town with amazing shops that echo how town centre shops in England used to be many years ago, it's a lovely place to be and a brilliant place to live.

We live in the countryside about 6 miles from Ballymena so it's our nearest main township.

Curry's, McDonalds, Halfords and Pound Stretchers? Certainly reminds me of an English town centre, I just can't quite remember which one...

OK the decision  has been  made regarding  which  tyres  go on  the  big V next. Michelin  road 5s?. nah. Michelin road 4s .? nah. Michelin  road 3s.nah. I am going back to the future after much research, and after lots of help from my tyre people, who state that modern day tyres with their sipes, and carbon black and modern day tyre manufacturer clap trap, are just gimmicky terms to make us buy their all new, all singing  all  dancing fancy  new hoops. But I am having  none of it.  I'm going  Michelin Pilot  Road 2s. I will report  in once the  bike  comes out of hibernation.
