Back in the saddle
« on: January 21, 2018, 03:41:46 PM »
Hello All,

Had a five year break from owning a motorcycle and now am the happy owner of a 2015 Versys 1000 with a lovely supporting wife on her own newly acquired 2015 Versys 650.

Glad that I have this resource for helpful advice.

Welcome and congrats. I just love the fact that my wife loves the hobby. I don't care that she rides with me or her own bike. I am so happy she just rides! Enjoy the Versys they are both great machines.

I just left Plano Tx, in fact my bike is still there until I attend the motorcycle show in Feb - I will then bring her back with me. The riding is a tad better up here..

Welcome.  :002:
Your wife must have long legs, my wife rides a Vstar 950 Tourer. While the Vstar weighs 150lbs more, the seat is 4 1/2" shorter.
