« on: February 17, 2018, 05:04:55 PM »
Hi all,
As the title asks, has anyone done that?
I for one like the look of the stock exhaust, and arrow sells nly the mid-pipe, is it possible to do this?

do you have a link to the pipe you are referring to? The only mid pipes I have seen from Arrow are made to work with their headers.... I do not think they make anything to work with the stock header since its welded together

I saw Arrow indeed, but also Ixil.
Thing is, you have to cut stock headers to fit ANY type of mid-pipe, is the diameter of the arrow one different than stock headers? And the main question-what about fitting the stock exhaust with the arrow/ixil mid pipe?

The only Arrow link pipe I can find is the pipe to connect their can to the original unaltered headers.
If you want to get rid of the cat, you will need a full system, or a de cat link pipe.
Can you post a link to the pipe you are looking at?

That was my point and  why I  asked for a link to the pipe he was talking about ..AFAIK,  there is no way to use an arrow link pipe with the stock can unless your going to do some cutting and fabricating.

Hi both, after carefully looking at Arrow's photos and your explanation, I see you are right.
Back to the drawing board then.
