my 2017 v1k was able to get around 20/21 km/l during summer. When temperatures dropped my average decreased to 18 km/l or even less if I ride more aggressively. To get around 20 km/l I need to ride very smoothly and without going over 4/5k RPMs.

It looks like that the speculation about the engine coolant temperatures and the increased gasoline usage are true. With winter temperatures it's hard that my engine coolant temperature goes beyond 60 degrees C.

Let's see when the temperatures will increase!

In any case I'm not disappointed by this bike, I expect from a 1000cc bike this kind of mileage.

Are you going to use the Ride Magazine Routes ?
Not really, no. The Ride routes are interesting and I might steal some sections from them yet, but I only have seven nights there so I will spend four of them in based in a hotel in Sort and do loops out and back from there.
