Oldtimer, the day I have any right to give you a hard time is the day I stop snugging up my helmet and gloves and THEN realize the earplugs and bike key are still in my pocket. Until then, I live in a glass house and will be keeping me mouf shut...  :124: :124: :124: :124: :124: :124: :124: :107:

Haha, fair enough. Today was a bad day all round. I should have seen the warning signs when after a sunny ride out to a coffee shop by the sea, I reached up to unfasten my helmet only to discover it was already unfastened. Oh dear.

Like, I've only been riding on and off for 20 years. You would have thought I'd have developed some kind of instinct by now.

Oldtimer, in a bizarre sort of way, I am pleased for you. For one horrible moment I thought "Oh no! He's bought a wrong'un" Well done for realising the error of your ways. I like happy endings :152:

Thanks Oldtimer - that cheered me up  :001:  Good to know that others do silly things too  :031:  And the good news is that you have cheered up the missus and that is always a good thing  :001:

Enjoy your bike

We all do silly things and panic when the bike won’t start, Oldtimer. As to your wife, well, all husbands are only around to amuse (and irritate - mustn’t forget that) their better halves! It’s part of the job description.....

Well done old timer for being big and brave enough to admit to doing something that most of us would try and keep quiet  :031:

We’ve all done something similar at some point  :lostit:
Titty bars aren't bad if you enjoy being sexually aroused without an outlet. Oh, and they're also convenient if you're in the mood for paying double the normal price for a drink. If I'm in the mood to be treated poorly while giving up large amounts of cash, I visit a BMW dealership

We all have occasional brain farts, so you're not alone.

But - the last time your rode your bike home the gas guage was flashing.  Why didn't you fill up on the way home?

It is easier on the bike to start it in nuetral, so I suggest you get in that habit

No, the reason it wouldn't turnover was that I had stalled it when I was last on it, and left it in first gear. What a prize idiot  :192:
