weljo, I really like the look of your seat. I just got back from a 3,600 mile ride and if I had had my title with me, I would have traded for a cage to get home. I've got hot spots on my bum...still, after a week. I need another seat or another bike. Writing to ask how much you spent on your seat. Mine would be a little less because I only need the driver part done.
Thanks- Mike

Hey Mike, Mine is a flat seat so the pillion hump is gone. The cost to me were.....$300.00 to do the seat $10.00 extra for the V-Pattern Stitching and $25.00 to have it shipped back to me. So $335.00. plus it cost me about $59.00 to ship my stock seat to him...So very very reasonable for the quality of the seat...

Thanks for the answer.
So, being a flat seat now, I'm assuming it raised the seat up several inches?
I would really like that!
I've got pretty long legs.

Its taller than the stock seat. He ask for your height and inseam so I'm 6'2" with a 32-33" inseam...

Yeah, I also would prefer to just buy the whole thing.  But I was going to ship my stock V!K seat to Sargent anyway for new foam so this will be fine.  I have their seats on my ZRX and Ducati Monster.  Like them a lot.

Shipping was way more than I anticipated. Hope the seat is up to their usual high standards and works for me.
Cruizer, you must have your seat by now. How is it?

Seat is very good. I have taken 2 trips so far (400 and 350 miles)...much improved over the OEM. I had raised the front of the original seat previously, and left the hardware in place for the Sargent...works great, with the correct angle for comfort. Not sure if the seat would be as comfortable if the front of the seat were lowered to original height.
In short, highly recommended.

Thanks for the review. We all know different rear ends react differently to any given seat, but all info helps, and yours is the first review that I have seen for the new Sargent seat.
