OEM Windsheild
on: July 20, 2018, 04:36:11 PM
I bought a used 2015 that had the Giva after market windshield fitted.  It is not the Airflow one. Think  it is a D4105.  Anyway, it seems a bit tall for me, I'm 5'9'' and suspect it adds to buffering.  I would like to try the OEM shield as I am used to a naked bike anyway.  Anybody have original?  Open to trade or purchase.
Thanks,
Paul

Sorry. My bad.  Located Central Illinois.  Anyone tried National Cycle 13" NC-1231-913875?

And I've a 17" N20017 clear Vstream I would part with as well. I like it fine, but for me at 6"3" not quite as much as the Givi Airflow.

I want to hang onto my OEM shield, though, in case I ever sell the bike.  :7:

I have one at home I would give you. Only problem is that I'm on a job and not sure how long it's going to last. That said I would give Madstad windshields a call and have them send you one of their windscreen systems. If you don't like it they will take it back. It solved the issues with my Tiger and now the Versys 1000. It's riding perfection for me. Yesterday with the brand new Roadsmart III tires (100 rebate for a pair this month) and a new HJC IS II Max helmet was a smooth quiet ride. About the smoothest I've ever experienced on any motorcycle in 50 years.
