If the bike, luggage, rider comes to circa 250+30+140kg would you be bordering on a GT tyre?

Im more convinced that total weight rather than bike alone would mandate an upgrade?

Just installed a set of PR5's on my 2018 V1.......... they feel great.  The Versys seems easier on tires than some of my other bikes.

Time & mileage will tell......... :notsure:     :biker3: :biker3:

Many great reviews on the 5 , I Really like mine as well , and also find that they stick well in the dry as well as the wet with great feedback to the rider . i run them with 42 front and 46 TPI rear for touring two up.

I just bought a set of Roadsmart III for $252.00 shipped... I've heard nothing but good things about them from reviews and I also  have a friends who swears by them...

Millage, big questions! How are the roads in your area, are you hard the brake, trhottle, do you push hard on the bars to take curves or you balance smoothly...... You can go from 5000km to 16000km  :027:

I can keep mine for over 10 000 km (6000 miles) but do a lot of commuting around Paris
