I just finished a set of RS3'S on my KTM 1190 before I traded it in on the V1K SE.
I was really happy with them and got 13,000 kms out of them. The best part was how they wore. Every tire I've tried starts to get a flat spot on the rear after a few thousand kms but  the RS3 stayed rounded their whole life.
I am definitely putting them on the Versys when the time comes.

Wish the Roadsmart 3 and Conti Road attack 3 was sold here for a comparison. Just put on Racetec01 and  :1:

I read recently a very good review of the new Pirelli Angel GT II.

I bought mine with BT023 on, did 11k km on them and replaced with Roadsmart 3. Did 15k km with the Roadsmart, had a bit more life in them but was due a long trip so put Michelin Road 5 on, toast after 10k km, rear was slick when i changed it.
Now running Roadtec 01 HWM, I had a VERY weird feeling from new, 4k km later they look and feel good. Will see how they hold up.

I have used Metzeler Roadtec 01 on my 2017 Versys1000 and found them to be outstanding from day one.

I wonder if the Versys1000 requires HWM specific tyres ?
