Versys it' s clearly stronger, more powerful and heavier especially with me over. The major issue of Versys it's his weight.
My body weight is 105 kilos, Tracer driver weight 70 kilos. 35Kg it's a big difference !!!!!
Versys it was filled with fuels and Tracer with lamp on tacho (only 2-3 Ltr fuel).

We tried to change motorcycles, I was driving the Tracer and my friend the Versys.
With me over at Tracer the difference was huge, Τracer there were 5-6 moto behind each test, Versys clearly WIN.

The spec's
Me on Versys, my friend on Tracer
Versys --> 250Kg +105Kg driver = 355Kg  total weight
Tracer --> 204Kg (because had a minimum of fuel only 2-3Ltr) + 70Kg driver = 274 total weight
Versys--> 355/120 = 2.95Kg per Hp
Tracer--> 274/115 = 2.38Kg per Hp

Me on Tracer, my friend on Versys
Versys --> 250Kg +70Kg driver = 320Kg  total weight
Tracer --> 204Kg (because had a minimum of fuel only 2-3Ltr) + 105Kg driver = 309 total weight
Versys--> 320/120 = 2.66Kg per Hp
Tracer--> 309/115 = 2.68Kg per Hp

As we can see, not only the horsepower it matters, but also the kilos per horse is important.

I think that is an interesting comparison  :763:

Sometimes we need a lighter bike as we become older, and this may be an option for some   :169:

What you have forgotten is the amount of Torque each bike has and the relationship of Power & Torque  :039:
and why peak acceleration is at peak power  :028:

These two video's can explain it better than I can by putting it into words  :028:

... not that the stock Versys seat is any paradigm of comfort...  :015:

I'm never sure if the seat broke in and improved or maybe my balls just flattened out.  :33:
