Kawasaki exhaust system cost..... And value
« on: January 01, 2019, 04:34:34 PM »
I'm curious on the cost of a genuine Kawasaki exhaust system and the subsequent value of a used one. There's a used manifold and toaster on eBay currently for £400 which seems a lot.

Thanks and 'effing heck :5:. Luckily I don't require one but will be selling one soon. I can't see there being much of a market for one though.

The value is what someone is prepared to pay for it rather than hat someone is asking for it. I think you're right in that there isn't much market for one unless someone is putting a crashed one back on the road although you can fit the headers off Z1000's apparently so there is more market than demand IMO.

Hi Iox, but do you mean that an exhaust manifold of the Z1000 is equal to that of versys 1000?
that is, just close the left side?

The engine is basically the same with regards the exhaust dimensions so a 4-1 exhaust made for a Z1000 should fit the Versys. A member on here fitted the headers of a Z1000 to his.
