I'd suspect that's a sticker or plate and rivet stating it has 72kw. Any power changes would be in the ECU, maybe full power mode is locked out? Ride it and don't worry about it, They don't have any way to check either.

Yes it is an option, you can order a 72kw version here in Belgium as well as a full power version
The 72kw was mainly for the French market, because they had a 100 HP limit until a few year ago.
But because this existed and here in Belgium they had the taxes for above 72kw, i presume the Belgium importer thought he would sell them here to.

for me its not a problem that he is "just" 72 KW, i almost never drive past the legal speed limit, and like everybody else love to "torque" ride :-)
and have no problems with the current bike in that area.

was just wondering how i could check it, but this seems to be a highly classified subject, can't find any documentation except the drawing at the beginning of the topic
next time i'm at a dealer i will ask him

In this case I must say that I agree with 16 Kw are worth 300 euros imho.
