First Ride on Modified Seat
« on: March 25, 2019, 09:05:43 PM »
As the title says, I took a ride today on my modified seat.  Terry Adcox of Terry's Custom Seats in TN worked his magic.  The seat is more comfortable, and I no longer feel like I'm sliding forward.  In addition, Terry added a backrest from Utopia.

Only one short ride so far, but I'm pretty happy with the result.

I like the look of that!!

I have a Utopia on the GL1800 and it is very comfy. Never thought of one for the Versys.

That back rest looks super. I wish I had seen that before Terry did my seat.

I have yet to hear a bad word about Terry Adcock's work. He needs your seat pan, so it takes time to get your seat, but other than that, all good reports.

Thats why i always have an extra stock seat on hand. When i shipped my seat off to Terry I had bought a Seat Concepts seat off a forum at a really good price to use while my stock seat was with Terry. Then i sold the Seat Concepts Seat on this forum for a stock seat and $100.00. With Terry having my stock seat in hand he was able to do my seat and have it back to me in about 3 weeks instead of 2 months.... :756: :756:

I just sent my seat off to Sargent to get repadded/recovered.  I've had Sargent saddles under my ass for the last decade or more and I've always been happy with them.  I do wish I had a spare seat in the meantime, though...hopefully they'll turn it around quickly.  Anyone got a spare seat to sell for cheap?

Looks great but also looks way too tall for my stubby legs!
