My ride so far
« on: May 17, 2019, 03:30:12 PM »
I have been reading and learning alot from this forum thanks to you guys.
Great to be here and finding out all those different rides.
Thought it was time I showed my ride to the forum. (had to clean it first  :2:  )

I did add and change a few things.
Lowered the pegs an inch
raised the handle bar an inch
MRA varioscreen
gear indicator
12v socket
GPS/ram mount connected to the 12 v socket (no current when turned off)
Had the slope in the saddle flattened out by putting some foam on top
lowered the back by an inch
OEM fog lights
OEM panniers
Toopbox GIVI V47
Oxford tank bag
That's pretty much it for now.
I love this bike, so comfy for me.
Still on my list are a tail tidy, a mudguard and modding the OEM can or a slipon. (no decat, I like it as it is) for maybe a deeper sound not louder.
Thoughts, tips and advice are welcome.
Ride safe y'all

Looks great fella :031:
Did you manage to get the original seat cover back on over the additional foam or is that a new/larger cover?
Been wanting to try this mod for a while now but haven't had the courage yet :006:

Hi,

Thanks, yes it's the original cover placed back.
The seat is much firmer now.
Paid around 95€ for this mod and worth it.

I imagine that with the seat adjustment and peg lowering, you will now have more legroom  :028:

Yes, correct
That was the goal cuz with a bad back, knee and hip, I can use all the comfort I can get and this bike has it all now

You're looking good... a sister ship to my orange '15.

I mounted a Dan Moto carbon fiber can... cheap, trim looking, nice sound and I dropped something like 14lbs from the curb weight.

G2Ergo throttle tube, Givi Airflow screen, Dan Moto carbon fiber exhaust, Grip Puppies, Moto Werk bar risers, Kaw rad guard

Lookin good, Gunny  :152:

Comfort is the most important thing and it looks like you've got that covered.  Now you need some sliders and you need to ditch that ugly OEM can and heat shield
