Howling rubber cap ??
« on: May 21, 2019, 08:55:29 PM »
Well ... I'm a bit confused

last day removed the rubber cap on meter board to tune lights, had a phone call... and maybe (I don't remenber...) did not put it back properly, so I lost it afterwards while driving (the right hand one). Actually it is not there anymore  :012:

On Kawa parts, this small rubber piece is 12€ delivered   :157: :157:

Any idea where I can find this at decent price ?  If not I'm wondering making one by myself with... chatterton  :759:

Part # is 11065B (Versys 2018............. Green  :152:)

Ben

Ouch,  11065-0882 for RH shows $3.98 here + $18.01 shipping.  Shipping rates have skyrocketed lately...
11065-0881 for LH  side same price

Maybe see if your local dealer can just get one on their regular stock order and not charge you shipping? May take a few weeks.

I believe I already guessed that one...
But what's the purpose of those two holes?

I thought it was to get to headlight alignment adjuster screws?

Dizzy is correct.  Although, the access to adjusters is still a challenge through those holes !
I've rarely gotten in hot water over something I didn't say.

Shipping £9 to France  :019:

And yes it is for headlight adjustment. Although I found the holes almost useless, or maybe with a very long screwdriver.
