Hi everyone,
New member from Cornwall, first bike was a Bandit 650 and then 4 years ago I went shopping for a more adventure/tourer style bike so I test rode a Versys 650 and loved it so I bought a Versys 1k GT 😂 Havenít modified it much since (grip puppies, fuel exhaust, wider footrest) the main thing I have done is getting it remapped at Hilltop to fix the bad throttle response.
Good news is I have a fully equipped SE on order which Iím hoping to pick up next thursday 🙂
Cheers everyone and have a virtual pint of Tribute on me.

Thats what happens Adam, you buy one and then have to go and do it again   :008:

Welcome along to this excellent forum where you will enjoy lots of helpful advice should you need it, there's also some good banter too

Welcome. I had a gen1 2013 and now a '19 SE with a KTM1190 sandwiched in between.
The V1K is still my favorite.
Congrats

It will feel a lot like the old one but it has a much thicker user manual  :lostit: :lostit:  :008:

Maybe my helmet, height, seating position I donít know but on my test ride I actually found the screen on the versys SE slightly better for me than the Puig 🤔
