Water for camping
on: September 01, 2019, 09:53:43 PM
Looking for suggestions for keeping hydrated while riding and camping other than those camelbacks that need to be worn. What type of containers and where to pack them?
1967 150cc Honda Dream (a nightmare to look at).                        1972 450cc Honda Scrambler Moved to AZ on that one.                1976 650 cc Triumph Tiger, crashed.                                        1980ish Honda Silver Wing.                                                     1984 Harley Shovelhead HD means hundreds of dollars.            2016 Kawasaki 1000 cc Versy

I have used a Kriega US10 or US20 ( could use two US10's?) strapped to the top lid/rack with the camelbak type water carriers inside. Handy for a drink when you stop and keeps them cool as well, my missus is also able to have a drink thru the drinking tube whilst we were riding along.
Another suggestion as a possible is rotopax https://rotopax.com/rotopax/water-packs/

Thanks for the suggestion YOX. Have a waterproof bag I can turn into a cooler. Can use the melt for a wash off or cup of coffee in the morning!
