MRA shield 2019 LT SE
on: November 27, 2019, 09:24:04 PM
Just received and installed my MRA windshield for my 2019 Versys 1000 LT SE. Looks good. Can't test ride for a couple of weeks as we just had a big snow storm here on the Front Range.

That certainly looks good, Chuck! I love the smoke colour on the black bike. Nice job.  :37:

How does the size compare to the original touring screen?

The base shield is just a bit narrower that the OEM shield, About the same height and then there is the wing that is adjustable to give a bit more height if necessary.

I'll be looking forward to hearing your opinions Chuck ..... remind me, is your OEM screen the vented variety ?  I'm guessing your LT SE will have the vented one

Hi,
IMHO no ventilation hole can cause more air turbulence around the helmet. :notsure:

The vented screen does make a difference to turbulence....my last GTR1400 had a vented screen which could be opened or closed, the difference between open and closed was noticeable

My Versys has a vented screen and I believe it also reduces turbulence
