My Bucket List - Top 5
on: November 30, 2019, 02:09:14 AM
I know that all motorcycle enthusiasts lie awake at night dreaming of motorcycles. Wondering... if money were no object, if you had unlimited space in your garage and your loved ones "wanted" you to have multiple machines....

I was bored so I decided to write a blog post about my current Top 5 Bucket List machines by category. Yes I am a nerd. I hope you all enjoy this little post. Have a great evening and Ride Safe!

Some great bikes there Jerry  :169:

I reckon we are all 'guilty' of having a money no object bucket list Jerry...

For me I wish, in some ways, that I still had some of the classics that I owned until about 5 years or so ago

Bridgestone 350 GTO, (1972)

Kawasaki H2c (1975)

Yamaha TZ 250J (1981)

There are others.... I still own a 2003 ZRX 1200 R

Nowadays what I need for the future is a bike that is lighter and a little lower than my current V1000

The world is full of good people, if you can't find one - be one

Make every second count, make every moment special.

As I get older, comfort becomes more important.  I'm very happy with the 2 that I have now (2015 V1K and 2019 Z900RS naked) and, while some of the bikes on the market have desirable features, there are none that I would buy.

If someone made a 80-100hp, 450 lb. (or less) bike that was comfy for me, I'd buy it.  I had a Street Triple R and a Ducati Streetfighter S (1098) that seemed to fit my requirements, but neither were comfy enough and the fueling on the Duck was terrible below 4,000rpms.

What a difficult choice, but with the old age my heart return to the vintage

- Kawasaki 650 W1, W2, W3 (only available in Japan)
- Yamaha 650 XS
- Ducati 900 MHR (Mike Hailwood replica)
- Triumph T120 Bonneville (new one)
- Versys 1000 2019
