ChunkyC - Newbie to Forum
on: January 14, 2020, 10:41:29 AM
Hi all and chuffed to be a newbie on the V1K forum.

Test rode and bought a 2018 GT model, 19 reg (1 owner, 270 miles only - 8,900) on Christmas Eve as an early pressie to myself and the good lady wifelet -she refuses to get on the back of my 2002 Honda Fireblade 954RR (don't know why!?! -  :008:).

Anyhoo, first impressions are excellent but already stiffened up the suspenders and ordered a neat twin slash-cut end can.

Cheers peeps

Welcome along Chunky, this an exceptional and friendly forum and you are definitely going to love the Versys 1000 it may not be a Blade RR (rare bike BTW) but it does tick the boxes and will put a smile on your chops.

I'm not surprised that the little lady wont get on the back of your Blade............................  would you  ?    :008:

:745: No I wouldn't get on the back, funniest thing ever was when my 6' 5" Son had a ride on the back of the Blade - aprt from axcting like a ginat sail he upset the handling somewhat but we still had a blast.

Think he'll be a tad more comfy on the Versys  :38:
