Agreed on both counts - rock solid, will take a little time to install, but you only do it once.

I got the SW Motechs. They look the best out of the available options (IMO) and they definitely feel like quality stuff that would protect the bike.

Downsides are its a bit of a pain in the ass to install. I dont think I could have done it alone and there is some stuff that doesn't quite line up exactly so you gotta keep it loose until you are ready to tighten down all the bolts.

SW Motech. I did put them to the test (gently), and they are solid. Worth the install time.

Wondering if anyone has these newer Givi's and if they will fit 2015-up V1K.  I have a note in to Givi but they haven't replied.  Another website says they fit 2015-19... I'm concerned at the top part of the bars where they go behind the fairing......

Experience is a great teacher, she gives you the tests first and the lessons later.
