on: February 28, 2020, 07:25:57 PM
Anybody going on this[saturday 14th march, leave from victoria embankment, london at 1pm]i have been waiting for somebody to organise a protest ride,so will definitely be travelling down, don't know london at all and i imagine this will be well attended so where does everybody park before the ride as it's double red lines along there.Anybody on here local to this and knows the area and can shed some light on where to park that would be great, thanks.

The 'advert' I saw said this was on the 1st May ?? Maybe there's more than one ride ??

Anyway, when I've done these rides in the past the police tend to turn a blind eye to red/yellow lines if there are plenty of bikes in attendance on mass. Just don't stop where the cameras get a great view of you (they are everywhere) or in ridiculous 'unsafe' place  :039:

These rides also tend to get a m/c police escort and you generally go through red lights because the police block the traffic coming the other way (make sure they are doing this!). I think their outlook is to get it over and done with as quickly and safely as possible. I've chatted to the police riders in the past and most say they don't mind these protests as the bikers are some of the best "protesters" they get. Without saying it I think are actually quite sympathetic.

Thanks.  I certainly knew about the incident, just didn't recall his name.  I can't understand how the wife of a diplomat is entitled to immunity.  In fact, I don't understand why diplomatic immunity exists for anyone.  The US position of "it was only an unfortunate accident" doesn't hold water.  People are convicted here every day of being criminally negligent.

Tallyrex,I think we should keep Assange and don't extradite him to the U.S. until they send her over here but it won't happen because we are a bunch of pussies these days, when the press asked boris about this incident he said "he would be having strong words with trump" we must be the laughing stock over here.
