Well with obvious time on my hands today i took off the standard screen, does not look like the iconic bracket could be fitted any other way but took off the small bracket that you attach the sat nav to,removed the sat nav from it and turned the bracket upside down and refitted it that way [no difference] the piece of screen that is pushed 2 inches back creating the hole[on se screens] is in the back of the small bracket so you cannot move the screen up or down,i measured how much the small part of the screen goes back and its 50mm thinking my bike might have a different screen,at the end of the day it dosen't matter that i cannot adjust it because i want the PUIG dark tint touring screen[without a hole in] which will cure it and it will adjust. The main problem with the sat nav bracket was the sat nav was shaking,i found out it's not the bracket but the powered mount was really loose where you can turn the sat nav through 90 degrees,i only ever have it horizontal so i glued it up and it's really solid now,the sat nav does not now move at all so i am happy that was the main issue.

very strange how yours stops the screen from moving. I've been messing about with my bike this afternoon while I gave it a clean and my screen moves all the way.  :notsure:

Yep, it's a bit strange because mine is also clear of the screen.

yes, certainly is,and i don't like mysteries, you would have to bend the tab part of the screen well over an inch to get it to clear the bracket and it would have snapped off long before that.
