How do the prices compare as to the Metzler 01SE and the Bridgestone T32GT Abroad ?

In Western Canada the 01SE  are about $80.00 cdn per set more than the T32 GT for example .

Looking at a couple websites the SEs look a couple dollars more a set ($20) I have a mate who works at an accessory shop and loves everything Metzler so I get good prices.

Managed a bit over 100Kms today on a mostly dry road with the occasional damp patch or stream across the road in some corners

The SEs turned in beautifully and held their line really nicely, giving nice reassuring feedback. It will be interesting to see how they handle the mileage but that is or lower importance to me than confidence, especially in the wet.

I think the grip they provide is superior to the OEM suspension (or this fat old rider)
