air conditioning ?
on: July 31, 2020, 08:31:31 PM

Maybe someone can help ? I can't find the air conditioning command on the SE. Where is it ?

 :008: :008: :008: :008:

More seriously, jus received my 2020SE. Sales guy could hardly explain the fonction of all the buttons and features and menus  :37:  Don't worry, I will read the manual.

Only a few miles so far. Much too warm today in france (36c).

Looks like the exhaust sound is different from my 2018. More present ? I love this.

Quick shifter is a dream. Already used to not clutching on the 2018, but here it works up and down  :37:

Suspension switch road/rain/sport, really feel the difference immediately. that's crazy !!

First time I ride a bike with so much electronics. I know so much debates.... anyway I love this. My first bike often refused to startup when rain was coming, or T were below 10c.  Today no reason, get up and ride.

Only 1 question : in the menu, preload adjustment works for both front/rear or only for rear ? I think it's only rear but not sure.

Rgds

I think AC is the only thing they left off, could use it here too.

The electronic preload is for the rear only.  The manual says the fork preload is located at the lower end of the left fork leg.  I haven't felt a need to adjust the front, the compression and rebound settings firm things up enough for me.  Although, maybe I should turn it in a few more clicks to see how it feels.

it is fitted with an air conditioner,  its hidden by the round tube  on the right handlebar that you hold onto.  To get it to work you have to put the bike in gear and turn it towards you. The more you turn it the cooler you get.

Wow, I've tried this. Works very well and in addition I find this very pleasant. Will do more often   :152: :152:

Worse than a joke, it's a subliminal ad. intended to convince the gullible that Yamahas are 'hot'  :015: .

But there may be worse things that can be done with a small vacuum cleaner on 'blow'.
