Hi, can someone kindly provide me measurements of the OEM frame sliders?  Length, thickness, etc?  I'm considering a custom application and need dimensions please!

Thanks!

Please provide the length of the longest measurement, the center to center of the holes, the thickness at the broadest point, and at the narrower midsection (without the thickest tail part...I may have to shave that off).  No need for laser precision, I just need a ballpark.

You're the man, Bob!  While I have you on the line, can you please also tell me approx. how far they stand off the mounting surface?

Do you mean from the tube it attaches to? If so, about 3” to the outer surface of the slider.

To the bracket it attaches to.

I’m considering mounting these to the top rail of my SW Motech engine guards. I’ll have to weld a couple of threaded bungs/standoffs to the guards, and I want to know what kind of height I’ll get off of the standoffs.

Here's my idea, mocked up with paper, more or less to scale:

I've ordered a set of OEM frame sliders and will weld 1.5" long threaded bungs onto my engine guards to mount them.  This will protect my turn signals (and more importantly the fairing pieces they are mounted within).  I think it'll turn out cool.  I like putting a custom spin on OEM parts.

Thanks again, Bob!
