I would recommend 5wt. oil and going with the suggested 8.5kg/mm springs unless you’re really heavy and always riding two-up - only then 8.8 and 9.0 might be considered.

For anyone considering a suspension upgrade, Mupo do cartridges and a shock for the Versys. It's another company to bear in mind if you're going down this road.
