Those "tractors" are not made for our roads, especially for the comfort.
And as for the BMW's bike, I don't like the "spirit" that come around those bikes. As I said one time, they are now the way to show the size of your purce!! Definitively no HD or BMW (except the R60 to R100 models or the R1150 and used of course). Maybe I will test the HD Adventure to not be stupid.

My Mk1 Versys is certainly the better bike I ever had and I will not change it during a long time!

If you do test ride one, it would be interesting to hear your opinion  :028:

When ever someone mentions that bike - I always get a vision of a Cylon come into my mind  :5:

I try to be open minded about all bikes,  I  have never ridden or even sat on any HD,

I guess it's one man's meat being another man's poison

Maybe one day I'll take a look at the latest range of HDs, until then my judgement remains reserved.  :169:

I placed an order for their 2021 Sportster.

They sent me this promotional picture of their latest lightweight racing engine heading for my frame on the assembly line...

After spending many a year on two Suzuki GSX1400 Musclebikes that had all the grunt, and cornered well....... I looked to slow down a tad and crusie, so in July last year I bought a 2017 Fatboy 114 for a bargain....................
I must admit,  that fat arse and big rear hoop turned me on....... and I thought this'll do me.... but '''' although the modern HD goes quite well, has lovely LED blinkers etc, and is very easy on the eye....... be careful I started muttering 'my precious' while having a polishing rag in my hand.....  :033:

The Fatboy had about 4" ground clearance, it didnt go around corners very well at all, and the seating arrangement even with boards was a 'pain in the back' no end......
another concern to me was/is its quality control for chrome bits and all those bolts that are out there in the weather..... the mirror stalk retaining nuts were rusting out already  :012:

Much as I liked the look of it in my garage, it wasnt for me I'm afraid....... I shed it in December

I guess it's a  massive decision  to move to a HD especially after owning stunning muscle bikes like that   :169:

I've never been interested in a Harley. But, I am now...or at least, intrigued. I really like the new Pan American. I cannot afford one. And if I could, I'd give it a year or two to see how reliable or not it will be.
