America's Cup
on: March 12, 2021, 11:47:12 AM
Despite 8.000 kilometers of coastline sailing is not a very popular sport here in Italy, but the America's Cup seems to trigger an unexpected interest (certainly not comparable to football, but comparable, let's say, to MotoGP or Formula1). There are people who wake up at 4 in the morning to see the match races and even I, who have never been on a sailing boat, am almost passionate about it.
I'd like to know from our New Zealand friends how they live the competition  :031:.

Well, not from new Zealand, and not a sailor, Do have a friend in Michigan that is and has volunteered for crew and got accepted just before the plandemic set in. I believe he's still planning on doing at least 1 leg when it kicks off again.
