Tip over bars/engine guards

Howdy, all,

Having just purchased a 2019 1000 and having dropped my share of bikes over the years, I'm wondering what folks are putting on their rides and what kind of protection they're getting. I had front and rear bars on the Concours but I haven't seen anything like that, so far. The best I have found is the Hepco & Becker. Would appreciate hearing from someone that has them mounted. Do they protect everything on a drop or low speed get off or does something get sacrificed, like the bags, handle bars, etc? Also interested in other options that provide good to excellent protection.

t rex looked like a pretty solid deal to me, front and back set for about 350 from their website

Thanks for the pointer. I have a little more research to do but so far agree with you on the T-rex setup.
