Does the Kawasaki trunk can get locked without the key in??

I know the GIVI V47 can... don't ask me why I know :008:

Yes. You can close the lid on the Kawasaki topbox without the key.
It is also Givi

I have a lanyard and have trained myself that if the key is not in any lock on my bike, it is around my neck  :008:

I've had a flat key copied (without black Kawasaki end) that i keep in my wallet when out; just in case the worst happens.

No a bike has two mud-guards
