Jamie, let me say straight off that I’m so glad you were not more seriously injured on that “motorcycle safety course”. I hope I’m not the only one who read your report of your ‘test’ with absolute horror. I would venture to suggest that if such a course was held by a dealer in the U.K. they’d be prosecuted for Health & Safety violations. A very heavy, cumbersome HD bike for beginners? WTF! You were let loose on a bike which was not set up for you, as you couldn’t even reach the levers properly or comfortably. How can you control a bike like that? This was a disaster waiting to happen, and your crashes, because that’s effectively what they were, were highly foreseeable IMO. The organiser of that course should have taken much more care to get you set up right BEFORE you even started up the engine. Like I say, I thank heaven you are basically all right. Personally, I’d think twice before using that dealers course again. Learn safe, Jamie, then drive safe, and enjoy your Z400. Good luck.

:762: My sentiments exactly. Jamie was almost set up to fail on an unfamiliar and badly set-up bike. The dealer doing this course is a disgrace.

Where do they get the names for these colours?
