TRIP A and TRIP B PROBLEM
on: May 05, 2021, 09:39:54 PM
Hi, I have an unusual problem that trip A and trip B started resetting after the ignition was switched off.  The batteries and fuses are OK.  The motorcycle charges as it should.  I disconnected the connector connected to the tachometer and checked the cables.  She seems to be fine.  After connection, trip B has stopped resetting but trip A does not load at all.  still showing 0.0 Has anyone encountered this problem?

Vibrations can also damage the boards. What about the totalizer (miles or Kil) is it still working?

Looks more like a board or chipset issue. Either you change the dial or you use the trip B instead. Personally, I never use the B, it would be my solution ;)

The bike should be under warranty, perhaps a trip to the dealer?

It is not under warranty.  I personally think of something with cables.  it was originally erased and then mysteriously revived B
