There's a push pin under the headlight at the top of the panel, access it from the front underneath if that makes any sense

I think there's one that holds the black plastic side cover onto the fairing bracket at the top.

Im thinking Im going to have to remove the panels again and have another go, fingers crossed I don't end up with more spare
Although I could take the 2 that I now have, and show the mechanic at its 500 mile service, that I found them on the engine casing, pretty sure they came from somewhere off the fairing

Did you undo the long panel that runs to the rear of the bike under the seat. There's another push pin under the seat towards the rear

Ummm, that's somewhere Im going to look at... fingers crossed.
On the facebook, Kawasaki Versys 1000, owners page someone gave a link to this on Youtube. It only got uploaded to Youtube today, so hopefully, it will show locations of bolts and pins. Although title is a little miss leading should you be searching for inspiration
