I have a brand new and unused kawasaki mount that came with the bike that mounts onto the handlebar clamps,  I prefer and have fitted the iconic mount that mounts above the clocks, its a bit fiddly to fit but works fine. The satnav i use is a garmin zumo xt though due to lockdown I've hardly used it so far, there's loads on YouTube explaining how it works etc.

I like the iconic version but am bulking at paying well over £70 for one, I noticed a guy made one to fit his bike above the screen so when my bike has been delivered I shall pop the screen off and see how it goes, luckily I have a friendly ally welder close by who has stock and time to assist.

Just fitted the same to my bike, with the powered tomtom mount it wobbles more than I like, in the process of creating an ally plate to go on top to reinforce it, well I have made it and painted it so itís just drying now.

Will fit it tomorrow and see how it works.

Bit of an overkill on my part.

I had the old mounting and make a cardboard template of it, scrounged some 3mm ally from a mate and marked it out, cut and bent it in the vice, very easy, screwed it together and added some extra holes for reinforcement, I had to remove the 3mm from the original spacers and hey presto it fitted and does not wobble.

As I say bit OTT but fixed the issue.
