Mine once stopped working while I was away for a week, the light was on but wouldn't set, I'd done about 100 Mile's from home with no problem then it decided  not to work, then later in the day it started working again and has been fine ever since.   :027:

Well I found the problem.  :38:

There ARE two switches on the rear brake. One for the light and one for CC.
In putting brake lever back together after cleaning it, I had put the catch apparently on the wrong side of the micro switch tab.
I can hear it clicking now with lever actuation!

I really missed the CC last time I road it, guess I'm hooked on using it. Especially on long trips!  :152:

Glad you got it sorted, I didn't think cruise control was anything special on a bike but since I've used it I wouldn't be without it.

Best to let your dealer sort it out as bike still under warranty.

If for info what they are doing, see if can help diagnose the electronic cruise control system (service manual sect 16-101)

Bought my 2019 hardcopy service manual - https://www.versys1000.com/index.php/topic,12733.msg241137.html#msg241137

Hope your bike is back on the road asap  :002:

Who in HELL wrote this manual? If you are writing a manual for English speakers, could you waste some time having a real English person proof read this crap?
    Do it while you can
