Looks ok , as long as its seat hight is a lot lower than the Africa twin it might be alright.

A low chassis option would be useful

Seen yesterday at EICMA.
From an aesthetic point of view it is anonymous as only Honda can do a bike, and in the front it looks a bit too much like an X-Adv.
However, as a tourer it seems to tick many boxes. Great aerodynamic protection, very comfortable (and very low) seat, big panniers and topbox, DCT, cruise control,...
Price a bit cheaper than V1000.
I liked it a lot.

I find it 'interesting' the article doesn't mention the V1K as a competitor to the NT1100

"Compared to the Suzuki GSX-S1000GT (12,400 with panniers), Yamaha Tracer 9 GT (12,200) and BMW K1600 range (all over 20,000) - amongst others - the NT1100 is priced competitively to do battle with its big-touring counterparts."

It looks nice and I hope to see one at the local show in January... from all I've read so far, basically, will I like a twin over a triple or in-line four?  It may be more of a gentleman's tourer than sport tourer, but I'll only know that from real world testimonials and a test ride if I can get it..... gonna have to do well to pry me off my V1K.

Experience is a great teacher, she gives you the tests first and the lessons later.

Looks like a winner , and its nice to see another Sport Touring bike enter the market .
I see the torque spread is just where it needs to so it should be a good bike for gear and pillion.
I have not seen one in the flesh but i like the styling, and it looks typical of Hondas build quality .
Love to try one out and compare engine performance against a V1

It seems 0% Sport, 100% Touring. Touring at highest level. BMW RT has a competitor.

Yes good point, but i wonder what the definition of " Sport Touring "  is in reality?

Really like it but unfortunately not coming in Malaysia. However prefer manual over DCT version.
This is a bloody great Bike....!
