This might get me off of my  2015 V1000 if the performance is there.  Love all of the features that I currently do not have, especially cruise control and the TFT farkels.  I just went to the International Motorcycle Show in SO. CAL but unfortunatley Honda did not have one to show.  I did see the new Suzuki GXR GT but it just is a bit too small for me. Much more sport with the 160BP then tourer.

Performance is the key, the V-1000 has a good amount of power/less weight than say FJR's..... I'm not into buying new bikes anyway, so I'll wait for those real world testimonials from those that are early adopters...... definitely need a test ride before making any decisions.

Experience is a great teacher, she gives you the tests first and the lessons later.

     :762:

I owned a Super 10 twin in 2014 and I  kinda found it a difficult bike to 'adjust' to, having had IL 4 bikes for year sfter year, I  kept the S10 for about a year

Twins are a whole different proposition  to ride especially after IL4s, but the adjustment  can be made.

    I'm loving  my current  GS 1250 and I believe it's a keeper.....but hey, that's  just my opinion    :028:

Not so sure I like the looks of the NT1100 Panniers. To me, from the pictures, they look like gray painted ammo boxes. But will have to see in person. Might be a replacement for my FJR, as the FJR is getting a bit heavier every year.

I am really liking the fact that the sport touring market is getting a boost. I love this type of machine. However, the Honda does not do much for me in terms of looks. I dunno, hope it looks better in person
