No doubt.  The crash bars did their job and protecting the really expensive stuff.

Hmmm, better check my idle,,, 

fwiw, My Nomad used to have the idle drop, I'd just crank it up a bit with the thumbwheel. Had to use some Throttle Body Cleaner spray on the intake runners and throttle body butterfly as the back side would have a carbon build-up. Once cleaned, the idle would be too high,  reset the idle back down from where I'd kept turning the knob to speed it up. Wondering if the intake butterflies on the V may be carboning up?
