on: October 11, 2021, 09:14:41 PM
Hi all

I was recently taken off my vfr800 vtec and bought my versys 1000 GT.
I have been thinking of getting cams on it.

Does anyone have  the Mio Mivue or similar ?

I tried to put a regular dashcam on my v650, mounting it to my windscreen, it didn't work very well...

I ended up buying a blueskysea DV688 system.  It has a front and rear camera and the main unit fits nicely under my seat.  Easy to wire, decent videos, starts and stops with the key.

Ahhh, I couldn't find that model when I would doing my search yesterday.  It seems similar  to the newer blueskysea units that include wifi.

I did find the manufacturers page -I would say that the pricing looks to be higher than any of the blueskysea units, not sure I see much additional features or technology that would warrant that, and I don't see too many independent reviews anywhere on the internet?!?

Yeah they are quite expensive, cheapest Iíve found is on eBay for £249.99 32gb version which is just a micro sd card to my knowledge
