Western North Carolina
on: October 12, 2021, 09:17:26 PM
Had a great time riding in the Appalachain mountains. The bike performed flawlessly. Even when I got lost on a road that turned to gravel over a pass. It was a little nerve racking, but the bike did great.

Doesn't seem like the leaves are changing color like they normally do this time of year.

Some friends and I do an annual trip to the Great Smoky Mountains every summer.  We ride the Blue Ridge Parkway all the way down (usually starting around Roanoke, VA) unless there are some Parkway closures.  We make Maggie Valley our home base of operations.  Thanks for sharing your pictures!

I was out in Maggie Valley a few months ago and rode some of the same roads as you, I love that area. Rented a cabin just down the street from Wheels through Time Museum.
