Imounted road 6 some weeks ago, had some thousands of km with them.
I must say that I have tried former pilot road 3 or 4 (don't remember) on a previous byke. I really did not like them. Particularly I remember a feeling like falling down when entering corners. And I also had the rear tyre wearing in "steps", which was visually very weird. So this time I said "no more Michelin !!".
Since then I'm a bit fan of Dunlop roadsmart

As said some weeks ago decided to change. I was planning a big trip in france, rear was almost dead. And impossible to find dunlop tyres anywhere. Was told they have production shortages. And the only tyres they could propose were Metzeler or Michelin. I was a bit in a hurry, so I chose the new road 6.
And I think I have found my new prefered tyre

If I had to compare against Roadsmart :
Cons :
Handling feels a bit like "heavier" at low speeds. Like if the tyres were bigger. But in fact got used very fast to this.
Pros :
Much much more stable and precise on the angle. On sharp angles the bike remains like on a rail, when previous ones started to be a bit "fuzzy". Very pleasant and safe feeling. Even loaded with bags and panniers.
Similar feeling in all other situation. Actually modern tyres are all good now. Had some rain also, but never ride fast anyway under rain, so difficult to compare.
Wear and yardage I can not tell so far. They have only 3.000km and look good.
So far I will go for the same next mount. Very happy with the great feeling they provide. Fist time I have the footpegs touching in sport mode

PS : don't take all this for granted please. I tend to think that tyres is a very subjective topic for us average riders. Maybe only a matter of taste, like for ice-creams or women (or men for you ladies drivers

)
Ride safe !!
